Good morning, I would just like to briefly introduce myself before I start using the forum more actively.  Firstly my name is Rob and I currently live in the north east of England, I have been browsing this forum for quite some time but didn’t feel like I could join in without actual owning a bike.  My girlfriend talked me into this motorcycling world over a year ago by buying me a CBT for Christmas, from then it has darkened my every waking moment, I passed my DAS 6 months ago and have been riding my girlfriends ER6f as much as possible since.

Very recently I took delivery of a 2008 hornet (in white) as my very own, which at the moment I just cannot keep away from, that also means my girlfriend gets her own bike back to her great relief.

Here’s hoping that the snow will sod of soon so I can get out for a proper play, maybe even spot some of you guys out over the coming weeks, have fun and safe motoring.

Rob.

Great intro and welcome. I wouldn't worry have worried about not having a bike before joining in, I've not owned one in over two years now but it doesn't stop me.

Hi and Welcome,

have fun on that hornet, I passed my test last july and got the hornet at end of August and ride daily, done over 12k so far. Great bike, lots of smiley moments so far and a few not so, but still here to tell the tale.
