Ok, I'll kick this off.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, BRMC, a glorious cacophony of sound and banging riffs, been going round and round in my mp3 player for the last fortnight. Nothing to do with bikes though i think they do ride.

All Angels.  I bought it to give to mum for christmas, but thought I'd give it a quick listen.  Found I really like it!  *pink with embarrassment* :P

Husband came home from work, says 'what you listening to this toss'....  Normally listen to stuff like Queen Adrena, Metallica, etc

Last thing I actively 'listened' to this week was ISIHAC on Radio 4.

Thanks to being a bit of a pikey (well, tight anyway) I don't have a CD player in my car, and can't be arsed to hook my ipod up* so it's the wireless for me. Usually Radio 4 or sometimes resort to R3 when the news is too depressing, or there's a politician being interviewed.

Failing that, 'Out of Here' by Corduroy, last time I was in the missus' car. Groovy Cats, daddio!

* I have a griffin itrip auto - pretty much every time I use it, the ipod locks after I switch it off and disconnect to bring it inside, and needs re-setting which is a pain as I can never remember how to do it without looking it up on't web.

I have not yet managed to see the appeal of an ipod yet.  Too much time wasted programming the thing surely!  and I like to walk in silence so I can hear the birds sing.  And I wouldn't want one on the bike as I like to hear the sound of my bike.

Maybe I'm just an old fashioned girl...:dude:

Depending on the size of your cd collection and I guess the speed of your pc drive, it can take a few evenings to put your existing music library on your pod, but then, you have your entire collection (or big chunks of it anyway) on a device that is totally portable, and can hook up to the home hifi, the car or whatever. Good for driving holidays too - better than the same old 6 or 10 cds for the duration of the trip.

Have you found an old fashioned milionaire yet?

I keep thinking I shuld buy an iPod but, as you say, it takes so long to load all the music.

I have a very good Disc Walkman with AM/FM radio which I can hang on the Curry Hook on my X9 and plug in to the Comms system. It does very well.

Radio 4, though the archers is shite at the moment , plus it always gives a good impression when I deliver a car back, it is regularly commented on
