My wife loves me; my kid loves me; both my bikes are running sweet; I have a fair pension and money in the bank; my rifle silhouette scores fell only a couple of points as I laid off the game for awhile to get the kid through grad school; the kid's nearly through grad school; I live in a beautiful part of the world; I'm healthy enough to be one of the oldest ski patrollers on the hill; my family and friends are all healthy; my mother has Alzheimer's but seems to be more cheerful and happy than when she didn't........

The Bike forum, so far, is tolerating me again.......

but the freakin' dryer stopped getting hot (kinda like my first wife!)...

I got 'er half apart (the dryer, not my first wife) and have tested the hi range thermostat and the heater element.... they seem okay....so what gives?

If necessary, I can live without the dryer.  Actually put up a (gasp) clothes line!

Yup, I'm a cheerful fool, me.......

Roughnecks - style="font-size: 12pt;" Is a term we refer to ourselves and our club because of the rough and harsh realities of our offices as public servants.

A Roughneck is, trustworthy, loyal, tough and resilient.

A Roughneck protects the society from predators and doesn't take shit from anyone. To deal with the dangers and the problems within our society, a public servant must be a ROUGHNECK . Respecting All and Fearing None!
style="font-size: 12pt;" style="font-size: 14pt;" What Our colors Mean:

Red - The color Red represents the blood of the public service personnel whom were killed or injured in the line of duty, protecting society and preserving the American way of life.

Gold - The color Gold, like rare metal, represents the precious value of trust and loyalty to our family, friends, and our Country!

Brown Cowboy Hat - Symbolizes the southwest and the American Cowboy. It's brown color is from the dust trails and open ranges we cross with the rising sun at out backs and the wind in our faces as we ride upon iron steeds.

Human Skull with Glowng Red Eyes - The skull is the unyielding and undying spirit of the public servant we call Johnny Law. The eyes are the red fire of justice, intense, burning through the darkness of the soulless guilty.

Star within a Circle - The star within a circle represents the shield worn by all within public safety community. It is the symbol of the public's trust and confidence within it's protectors. We wear it proudly upon our colors, because of it's significance to the communities we serve.

Crossed Pistols - The crossed Peace Keeper pistols are the symbols of the Law Enforcement and the tools of public safety personnel and the military to maintain law and order within our lands and the lands of others.

   Just as I thought, you really are a sad sonofabitch, if I had the time I might feel sorry for ya, but I don't have that, or the inclination. :(

   The answer to your assumption is probably a resounding, no. The answer to your question is, yeah, you go right ahead, if you want to wait 15 years in solitary confinement for the nice doctor to come along and put a needle in your arm, to put you out of your misery. Enjoy. :D

My reasons to be cheerful?  Too many to list, but I'll start off with: I am living my life as I choose and no one can tell me otherwise.  It is a truly fantastic feeling.
