My thoughts are somewhere along the lines of - I disagree with the BNP fully but defend anyones right to vote for them.
Even if it is just to stop them being shouted down.
on the bright side - the more votes they get the further they have to distance themselves from violence.

Quite. No-one's suggesting preventing people from casting whatever vote they wish, but, as I already said, if someone votes BNP, I reserve the right to assume that they're a thick, narrow-minded bigot.

I watched one of the party political broadcasts for the BNP a few weeks, it did make me laugh. They were interviewing a few folk on why they were voting fior the BNP, classy folk, real chavs, women with Croydon facelifts, chaps with big rings & gold necklaces, all saying that they don't feel safe on the streets, using public transport & the BNP were the party to sort it out.
The funny thing was, when I'm on the train, bus etc, it's these sort of people that start all the trouble.

I'd agree with that.
The unfortunate thing for the BNP is that they will always attract the nutter element, which is why more people don't vote for them. And no, before someone says it, I'm not saying that all the BNP are nutters... 
As has clearly been demonstrated on here, many people consider anyone that votes or voices support for the BNP as racist and bigoted, which as I've already tried to say, is bigoted in itself.
I just googled BNP and looked at the FAQ on their website. Anyone else going to read it?
