It just occurred to me that if I walked out my front door, mounted one of my bikes, and turned left -- and rode 10,000 miles -- I'd be at Tierra Del Fuego, Cape Horn, the Southern Tip of the continent, admid the screaming winds of Patagonia.

Holey Moley...... now what to do with this startling revelation............?

No, not the Big Red Fattie.........

the CB750 could do it, however.....  new chain, new sprockets, tyres..... new tankbag, whatever.....

what to do with the Wifie...... she saves the world during that time, the time I'd have to ride, saves it one little kid after another...... could I stand being away from her for four, five months?

Yeah, I know..... looks like a feckin' bowling team, right?

The problem is.... we only buy discount gear, and usually the discount gear is all the same color (colour)!  It's a bitch to be poor, ain't it?

Hi, Chiara.... thanks for the offer, may take you up on it someday.   Trying to save up some coin to buy Red a new jacket!

Another question: have you ridden in Mexico, Central America?  Any suggestions if you have?

No, never, sorry.  Definitely ask on the advrider site if you want to ride south of the border.  Or even hit up Dan Walsh with a pm.
