Relax, K-man, ..... I'm not coming back.... not ever.....this site has done for me. The post in Wax Lyrical (six hours before it went tits up?), well, that was a sort of a final gift, an offering if you will, to two members who wrote me some very kind pm's......
Besides, how could anyone "slip back in," back into a motorcycle site so ably monitored by a non-riding member! Impossible........!

It's still good to see you back.

Can you imagine what they are like when they argue?

Suzi,
It seems almost evrything was stacked against me going to Scotland. I've copied the sad tale from NW ride out section for your info:
The Triumph is poorly sick
She runs crap at low revs - always been tricky to set off, but now a real bitch. More and more she stalls when I pull the clutch in and she feels vibeier throughout the whole range.

She is over due a service, valve gaps need shimming (special triumph tool) inlets balancing, injectors and filters cleaning, new oil and coolent, spark plugs and air filter....£500 says BIKe mag write up..not phoned Philip Youles yet...full 24K service might solve her/my woes...
I put some Red Ex injector cleaner in with my second to last £5 of fuel and it seemed to help - but now she is worse than ever - almost un-ride able, cutting out and being a twat to pull away on.
I have most tools to do the service myself, inlet balancers included, but I'd need the shimming tool and a remote petrol tank - a fucking garage would be nice too!! If it is £500 for the full monty - Jesus - I though Tax, insurance and MOT at the end of this month were bad enough!!!

What is a pennyless hippy to do?? Looks like Scotland is out - can't ride the cunt the way she is....What with the RBS breathing down me neck.....grrrrrr, I just wanna ride me bike - is that so much to ask?
Biggest problem is money - I struggle to put petrol in the thing most weeks for our ride outs, the TAX and insurance is up at the end of the month and there are no funds to pay for it - so Kneedowns kind offer of his Bandit would be no good as I can't insure it, Grandmasters garage wont keep her on the road after this month either - even if I could service her in time for Scotland - I'd have to spend the £150 I have put aside for petrol on the service consumables and Triumph tools etc...

My only reason for pissing and moaning is - my naughty bike has lost me the chance to go to Scotland before the thing has to go off road at the end of the month - if she could have behaved for just another fortnight - I'd have been happy!!!!

With regards to all my money woes and therefore bike woes, I am hatching a cunning plan - it may fall flat on it's arse, but I have to try - I NEED my bike on the road - it is the delicate thread that my last remnants of sanity dangles from. In 18 years or riding, I've been forced to walk for only 16 months - it was Hell. I'm not saying what my money plan is because I don't want to jinx it!!

Good news:
Been to my Solicitor today - he says the intent for court action letter on behalf of the Royal Bank Of Scotland is a bluff - they have little hope to win, it would cost them too much to try and for a debt of less than £5k that is in contention - it wouldn't be worth it. He has written them a letter stating that I am not accountable for the Bank's error and it would not be in their interest to peruse this matter. The RBS has not been involved in the recovery for months, the debt is sold on from one collection firm to the next and round and round we go.....I have a back up plan to safe guard my bike anyway - but it looks like I won't ever need to go to court - unless they are stupid!

I don't argue with wifey- I'd never win.
As to CJG, well, just a bit of fun. Just because my sense of humour happens to differ to others means I have to follow their style? Don't think so.
But I for one would be more than happy to see him come back and so I said so. Why is that a concern to people?

Quoting CJG’s statement of not posting again, after all that was discussed, on the boards and via PM, seemed childish, antagonistic and ought to have been beneath a ‘moderator’ let alone a compassionate or friendly human being.
Your ‘welcome back’ seemed entirely disingenuous, more like a smug ‘told you so’ So saying it is your sense of humour, I find to be more along the lines of a poor excuse to rub salt in some ones wounds and sit back feeling awfully pleased with your self. Rather small of you old bean.

Thank you. each day i get a step closer to resolving these problems - it's not life or death...just bumps in the road......
Hope your lot improuves - if you got back with her - I'd hope she's 'the one' for you, if she aint, Kneedown finds you absolutly stunning - even I like your eyes - awfully pretty....

More fish in the sea and all that...come to blackpool - they still smell like fish

I would just like to point out that I took the piss out of Karter purely because it was force of habit and that I don't actually have any strong feelings about the whole CJG thing either way.
Phew.
