Well, if everyone did that before posting on this forum there'd be fuck-all here, wouldn't there?

In fact I do think that suicide is an interesting topic for discussion, but there are better ways of discussing it than I saw in he thread in question. I know of two active members who've had to deal with the suicides of people close to them very recently. For that reason I felt that the discussion should be moderated. In the true sense of the word.

So having asked myself the question above, I decided that I wasn't, and that I was entitled to an opinion.

I apologise if i have caused any offence... the jokes which were the original cause of this topic were meant to be humourous and i truly did not mean to cause offence. They have since been removed by myself.

I am willing to accept any punishment for my actions.... I've made an ass of myself and i apologise sincerely.

Unless it's common knowledge, I don't see how any of us that had joined in the thread would of known? If they are offended maybe it should be dealt with...

No-one would have known - that's why subjects like this should always be approached with the fact that it's a real possibility in mind. I'm not saying that suicide shouldn't be discussed - quite the reverse - just that it should be treated with a certain amount of respect. Anyway, I did know, hence my mentioning it here.

If that makes me a huge vagina that's tough. Life is real.

No, seriously. I know it was private news and none of our business anyway, and I am sorry to those that have been through it, but I feel we should only complain if we ourselves are offended, not what we presume others might be?

Oh, I see. Well in that case it's fine, because I am one of the two that I mentioned.
