Yo Badcherrys
Unfortunately can't make it tonight, but if it's a regular monthly meet then I'll probably get along on another Thursday as that's the night hubby plays in the garage so I am a free agent
I was at the tea rooms a month ago, we took the scenic route there and swear we got lost on the way back, but eventually found the A134 again , where are you based? Have you posted a pic of you/your bike?
(heaven forbid I should speak to a strange man )

Yup I know Safron Walden ... well I know where it is, years since I been there lol
I now live in Suffolk but went to a private school in Essex where all the posher students came from the Essex country side villages, hence my distant knowledge of some of the North Essex freehouses
I spent many years of my adult life in Sydney and when I came back things had changed somewhat ! ... like they built the M25 and Chelmsford bypass
If I know you guys are meeting somewhere, i can ride and park bike at a closer station and come stright from work (I work in London so could ride to and park at Colchester in the morning), jyst keep posting where you'll be and I'll catch up with you

Ah, place names from my youth! I went to school in Newport, Essex, left in 1990. Is the Fighting Cocks the pub on the right as you go towards Saffron Walden from Newport?
I live a little way away now (near Bedford), but would fancy a ride out if you're gonna be there next Thursday? (Fox or Cocks?)

Thanks mate, actually just got back from a ride over that way - 140 miles, mostly great roads
Took some pictures to prove it!
