Stuggling a bit at the mo, my mind isn't on the job. I'm completely buggered on corners again. Probably cause I'm dreading Cadwell Park on wednesday on a bike i have never ridden and the head light doesn't move with the front wheel (WTF I wanna street fighter it!!!).

Shame - I drink gallons of the nectar, it keeps the stomach full until I get to the pub.
And when I'm having an off day I ride slowly and drink more tea

| Cappucino? Really? I mean, I like coffee and tea, but they're acceptable drinks. Italian mugs with more cream than proper liquid just look like traditional barber's mug filled with shaving foam. It could also be described as "something to really sink your nose into" as they're difficult to drink.

Almost got rear-ended by a bus this week. It was raining that day and I didn't dare to hit the throttle hard. I'm conservative in the wet, but never that scared. Wonder why...

johnktm wrote: In recent months I`ve noticed myself having what I can only describe as "off days " with regards to my riding, and today was one of the worst,I was shite, like a novice trying to ride too fast on a bike that was too much for him,I was gripping the bars too tight ,my arms were stiff,my legs were tense,my throttle control was rubbish,I was braking too early, turning in too soon or late and then running wide, in other words you would have thought I had been riding for 30 mins not 30 years and I have no idea why.
Any suggestions?
I had a bit of a problem like this on Friday night just gone. Haven't been out for a ride for a few days, and headed out to Sheffield late at night to try and get my head clear (hadn't been feeling well all week) Got to the first junction on one of the Manchester ring roads and went off the wrong way because I couldn't seem to focus. Mix with that the fact it was heavily raining and water was spraying up from the cars infront, making visibility very poor. I ended up getting lost for about an hour on all the ring roads and eventually made it to the A57 (Snake's Pass) at about 1:45am. By the time I got there I was tired, still ill, and damn cold, even though I'd wrapped p in about 3 layers. My confidence was completely gone after my first mistake and the fact it's a difficult road with no lights on made it worse. I ended up going around very very slowly.
I got there in the end, but even coming back on Sunday afternoon, in the light and dry weather, it still took me about an hour to get my confidence back.
