Tried twice (third try this Autumn I guess) but one eye is hyper sensitive.

I wear mines all day - haven't worn glasses for nearly 10 years
At the end of the day - glasses aren't cool - period !! A necessary evil cos you've poor eye sight. You wouldn't want to draw any attention to any other defective part of your body if you could help it - so why advertise the fact that you've poor eye sight ?
Just my thought !!
I'm just not comfortable sticking those things on my eyes. Don't want to risk infection.

You take a crap, pick your nose, clap the dog or cat, etc - don't wash your hands & then stick your lenses in - yeah your going to get an infection.
You wash your hands every time you touch the lenses plus use the correct solutions & throw the old stuff out once its past its 30 days - chances of infection are virtually zero. 10 years plus & not even had a red eye. I heard a few years ago that more chance of getting an infection from glasses than contacts. You ever seen the state of some people's glasses. Use the same cleaning cloth in their spec's case week in, week out.
** In response to someone mentioning about his wife being seriously sexy. Man your wife could be halle berry or norah batty but she'd still look better without the double glazing !! Thats what I'm saying **
Anyway - all I was saying was that in this day & age for most (not all) - why wear glasses & have all the fannying about with hassle with helmets, steaming up when you go into a room from cold to hot (i.e. ice cold morning into a garage to pay for fuel, etc). Its not for me.

Nope & not a clue what why you'd even think that or even mention in relation to the topic
Only logged on to post a question about my KLR top box. Sorry I even reponded to this post

It was in reply to your comments:

And in particular

Comes over as though you're anti-specs on burds and so I jokingly suggested you were single.
It's never as good when one has to explain stuff...

does kinda ruin the joke...
I dabbled with wearing sunglasses while riding and it caused me no end of trouble. I couldn't get a pair that fitted nicely while riding the helmet, so I gave up and bought a helmet with a built-in sun visor.
Maybe one day they'll invent prescription visors.

| Wearing the helmet, while riding the bike. That's what I was doing, riding the helmet is plainly a social foux pas and should be avoided at all times.
