i'm  a new convert to fair weather riding only. except for the times when i have to ride in shitty weather. which is quite a lot of the time as it happens. but in principal i'm a fair weather rider.

Given the choice, I'd ride only in winter, or unseasonally bad summer weather. Regrettably I have to ride in good weather too, so I put sharp things in my boots to compensate.

I put my bike away in Winter because I'm frightened of falling off due to the extreme arctic Winters we experience in this country.:D

Yes. The people who book me are wankers - I told them I would only work when it was sunny from 06.30-07.30 and 18.30-19.30 and they stopped giving me work. What the fuck is up with that???

Yep

Ride all year round

Its just that in Winter the bike gets washed virtually after every other ride, and the chain relubed and the complete bike (exept disc and pads) gets a good spray coating off WD40 to keep the salt and general shite from the road from doing any damage to the bike.

Are great!

They have clean bikes, shiny leathers and look like proper motorcyclists. I'm sorry that I don't measure up:P
