Thinking of popping a set of piot power 2ct onto my bike, I guess they are reasonably new, so was looking for some opinions from folks as to how they preform. They would be needed for my daily commute and weekend blasts. How are they in the wet etc, whats the wear like in the centre, are the sides noticeably more sticky. I'm running pilot powers on the gixxer right now, how will they compare.

Is there another tyre choice that would directly compete with this model, many thanks.

had them on my 636.    best tyres you can buy in my opinion bar perhaps Corsa 3s.  the sides are very sticky indeed.

How many miles did you get out of them?

Try them.  They are great.  I got 2400 miles out of them on an R12S.

Put a pair on my ER6 2000 miles and 2 months ago (mostly daily commuting and a once a week motorway blast).  They look like I'll get at least another 2000 miles out of them: wouldn't be surprised if I get slightly more.  In the wet I ride almost as fast as I do in the dry... i.e. I'm pretty confident with them in the wet.  In the dry, leant over, I find them pretty stable.  Still vulnerable to road debris, mud, gravel etc. but then, all bike tyres are...

I think they're much better than the Dunlop 220's (ER6 OEM's).

I've got a K6 too, and I rate 'em. About 6000km from a rear.
