It was 1982 and I was 18. A mate took me for a ride on his CB250RS and I was hooked. I was going to buy a moped but thankfully the dealer talked me into getting a bike which was a Kawasaki KC100Companion. That same year I bought a Honda 250 Superdream and bikes have been in my life ever since. I currently own a 1998 Honda Fireblade, a BMWR100RS and am in the process of nut and bolt restoring a 1982 Honda CB1100R which has turned into a financial nightmare :(
