My first 'big bike' was a black faired 600s bandit. R reg, (97/8?) infact the reg  was

R***AWS - the kids nick named it 'Really Awesome' - and to me it was! - i loved it.

Hope you enjoy your bandit as much as i did...i kept mine for seven months/7000+ miles, then traded it for my Sprint, but, you never forget your first 'love':dude:

Hi

Slightly played with 1200 here. About 55000 miles on the clocks.

All the best

Used to have one mate, 600N in blue, flyscreen, bellypan...loved it!

Put about 10,000 miles on it before getting something bigger. Tell you what though, if I had a spare £1500 tomorrow, I'd get another one as a second bike (poss a 1200 though).

My first "big" bike was a Y reg 600S. I had it for about 5 months and realised it wasn't what I really wanted, albeit a good first big one.

I always felt it was a bit long at the front and since then I haven't had a bike with a fairing :D
