What a great performance. Can`t wait to see him when he gets the new motor.

This season looks like it will be much more exciting and closer with all the newbies looking quick.

I must say I'm a bit surprised at the lack of posting about Toseland's performance.  I'd have thought you'd be having quite the party over there.

He qualified very well and was in the mix until the hp deficit couldn't be denied any longer.

I did enjoy the move he put on Lorenzo.

It should be a good year indeed.

Yep, fabulous - great debut, I hope he's pleased.

He was right up there with them, and clearly making up ground til they got to the straight again (like Rossi vs Stoner this time last year).

I did lots of shouting for Toseland last night! I was so pleased for him. What a dude.

Most positive performance a british rider has given in years, also well done Danny Webb and Scott Redding coming 5th and 6th in the 125s. Pity about Bradders mechanical problems but well done for qualifying on poll.

Due to power outage here, we missed the race.  :(

But congrats to JT- we'll be cheering him on in Malaysia on 19th October.

JT was fantastic! Lots of encouragement from our sofa - and plenty of bad language too!

I thought all three races were excellent, I was bit dubious about the night-time racing but the bikes looked great, the sparks flew off the pegs, the whole thing was just fabulous.

I really thought Rossi was back on form but it was not to be. What a finish - who'd have thought Lorenzo would be up there eh?

Very happy with JTs performance, and he should be too. Isnt it great to have a Brit mixing it with the big boys?

Anyway, I was wondering if he needs to slim down a bit. Hes a bit of a chunky lad (in great physical shape) but the GPs seem to be favouring the slimline riders. Would a few kilos less add up to a few seconds per race?

World class performance - he did us proud. He might not be 100% on the pace, but that is largely down to the bike. He's certainly rubbished any fears over the WSB/MotoGP transition that have dogged others in the past.

Not long before a podium, I think we can be sure of that. Who knows, he might even pick up a win.

He's lost 5 kilos from his SBK weight which is impressive when you find out he was only 6% body fat to begin with!
