NO WAY. We like it here too much. I just can't resist the odd dig. When we've had a few podiums in the main Championship this year perhaps Bike will take an active interest. Thanks for the new sticky.

Here we go with a pre season mini update. I'm just back from the pool with fatboy where the new years training has started in earnest, we'll be back down there on Wednesday night for another hours swimming. We walk the mile there and back too. Alcohol is off the menu for him now after the Christmas break until the end of the coming season. This year we need to step up another level like we did last year, but last year we started well without improving as the season progressed, this year we intend to come out of the blocks on th B of Bang and get stronger and stronger with each round. So as well as the swimming Ben will be going to the gym and cycling, on the road and trail riding as well, we want him fitter than a butchers dog.
I would love to be able to tell you who the new Team Wylie and Holland riders will be but as of yet nothing is absolutely finalised, although its pretty much a done deal with 2 of the 3 probable lads. If all goes to plan we will have 2 riders in Junior Superstock and 2 riders in SuperSport. They are all good lads, 2 of them proven winners at National level and 1 of them stepping up from club level. As soon as its definate you'll be the first to know.
The race truck is coming along nicely. Cliff and Ron have done a superb job of fitting the kitchen and living accomodation. The kitchen in particular would grace a luxury appartment. Don't forget we live in this thing for a large portion of the summer so it's great that we're so well looked after. The storage and false floor have to be fitted in the workshop half of the trailer and then it goes to the body builders to have the chassis lockers fitted. Then the unit and trailer go to the sprayshop to get the paint and livery done. We're hoping to have it ready for the trip to Spain towards the end of March, fingers crossed on this as i don't much fancy the drive down in a transit.
One new R6 has been taken down to the fairing manufacturers so that they can strip it and take moulds for the race fairings. Another one has gone to Richard at Maxton to have the suspension worked out.
All in all things are coming along nicely, what we need next is some track time for the riders. Extraordinary isn't it that 12 days racing take a full year of planning and organising.
I suppose i should have made it clear that Ben is definately one of the SuperSport riders.

Sorry but i don't think the budget will stretch to Malaysia unless you want to stay in for a couple of nights and send us the cash you save for air freight. If you are desperate for my autograph i hope to be in Dubai in February and Southern Spain at the start of March. After that we're Gypsies again.

Well, huge update on my behalf guys ... do you know what im doing for you this year? NO? Well ... Im giving up smoking!!! and starting running to get fit, so I can dash round race tracks taking pics of you, especially my hero, Ben! Now thats Fooking Commitment!

And Ben ... PLEASE! let me know when the dates for testing are please?! I need to know to try and get the time off work!

Anyways ... thats my news ... and hopefully will have a laptop and stuff, so I can get the photos done whilst im there ... but need to sell the old one first, and make a few bob! He he he

Hope you are suitably impressed by my news ... Im gunna lack skill, ability, talent and brains more than i ever have this year, but at least i put the effort in!

Dorris if you pack up fags and dont smoke at all this season I will giv up sex for a mont..... erm a week.

My plan is to sort out the testing tommorrow when our 2 riders sign. the most likely is gonna be 28,29 feb at Cartagena and 2nd and 3rd march at Guadix.

Go on have a fag, you know you want one. ;)

12 months last September for me. Doesn't bother me one little bit 99.9% of the time but just occasionally i fancy one. I have given up for over 3 years in the past but then went back to 'em. Cold turkey is the only way to quit, make your mind up and do it.
ps. has Christmas quit too ?

Im not going cold turkey, cos i think thatd actually kill me, so im doing it over a ten week ish period ... lets see how it goes! Still going well at the moment!

And I think its a bit unfair for me to go a whole season, and Ben to go a week! ... Maybe Ben should go ALL season as well?! ... Keep him focused on the racing! He he he ... Ill put it to Cliff tomorrow!
