Who do you think will be the ones to watch this coming season?

I'll be backing Rossi, Stoner and Melandri as the strongest three, also watching for good things from Hayden and Vermulen.

This time last year who'd have thought Stoner would run away with it the way he did?

I have no idea what is going to happen this year, and wouldn't like to try and predict it either. I somehow doubt that Stoner will have miraculously turned into a lemon over the winter, and I would hope that Yamaha have managed to design a bike that works this year.

As for a split garage? Hmm, not sure what effects that will have on Rossi or the rest of the Yamaha boys.

JT - fingers crossed but I think we have to be realistic.

I reckon Jorge will be like shit off a shovel.

Pedrosa. Good for Honda; not so good if we want heroes who are at least amusing and human and even better naughty-boy bad. Stoner - can't believe he won't be on the pace right from the beginning. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lorenzo fast from the start. How will that too go down with the punters?

None of these three are real charmers. So hoping Hopper - and Rossi - get sorted and on the pace.

I think its a cert that stoner, valentino and pedrossa will be consistantly up the front, i think melandri will get his ass wooped (except the few rounds when hes injured :D) and I think JT will have some top 5s and hopefully a podium or too but will struggle at some circuits that he doesnt know.

I think Bradley will win races and will be fighting for the championship

Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Rossi.

Rossi

2005 1st

2006 2nd

2007 3rd

possible trend - 4th this year. Would be amusing but unlikely.

1. stoner
2. pedrosa
3. rossi

Same as last year seems pretty likely to me. Rossi is still the best rider but that Yamaha has to get a hell of a lot better.
Cant see the 250 lads challenging for the title (this year) cos I believe the traction control thing takes a lot of getting used to.

I'll be cheering on Toseland and Rossi:cool:

Looking at recent testing times - I think Toseland stands a good chance of taking a podium or two at WSB tracks.

Surprised at how well JT's been doing so far.  Maybe stands a chance of giving us something to shout about this year?

Maybe... he's bloodied the noses of Stoner, Rossi and Pedroas in one of the sessions at Jerez!

Hayden's been looking pretty sharp in testing too.

I reckon it'll be a Stoner snooze fest again... unless Bridgestone mess up like at Sachsenring last year. I seriously hope JT does well, well enough to make people sit up and look at so he can hopefully go further in MotoGP as he gets more established.

Anyway I reckon 125s is where it's going to be especially with Bradders doing so well and on a factory bike as well. Really hope he'll be taking the title this year - it's been a while since a Brit won a race let alone a GP title!
