Hi chaps,
Wanted to tell you about the G8 Global Tour which kicks off Sunday 15th June 2008.
Clive Jones and Big Dave Dyer of the Global Group (http://www.globalgroup.org) will ride out of Staffordshire on the first leg of their charity challenge to complete a circuit of 8 European capital cities in 8 days on TWA Toth trikes, accompanied by mechanic Rick Pye of Singles to Superbikes on a support bike (hence 8 wheels!)
The demanding itinerary will see them take in London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg, Berlin, Prague, Bern and Paris in a bid to raise £10,000 for their nominated charities: the Alzheimer's Society and NSPCC.
We don't know you, you don't know us (but please shout out if you think you know Dave or Rick, the bona fide bikers of the outfit) and, to add insult to injury, I'm a bird who knows nowt about bikes BUT, if you think you can help us raise money towards our £10k target, or you'd like to tag along for the Staffs - Dover bit, please get in touch.
