THE ANNUAL MOTORCYCLE TOY RUN SUNDAY 2nd DECEMBER
THE 16th ANNUAL MOTORCYCLE TOY RUN SUNDAY 2nd DECEMBER, AS MANY BIKES AS WE CAN GET WILL TURN UP STARTING WITH A GATHERING OF ALL MAKES, AGES, TYPES AND SIZES OF MOTORCYCLES AT 12 MIDDAY AT “THE HORSESHOE INN” HIGH STREET, IRTHLINGBOROUGH WITH TOYS TO BE DONATED TO CHEER UP LOCAL CHILDREN HIDING IN LOCAL REFUGES FROM ABUSE AND OTHER PROBLEMS THAT WOULD SPOIL CHRISTMAS FOR THEM.
LEAVING AT 12.30 THE BIKES WILL THEN GO TO ANCHOR KAWASAKI CENTRE FINEDON TO PICK UP OVER 200 TOYS DONATED AND BROUGHT IN BY LOCAL PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE A MOTORCYCLE AT THE MOMENT.
THEN JOURNEY ONWARDS TO NORTHAMPTON, TO HAND OVER THE TOYS TO A LOCAL CHARITY WHO WILL TAKE THEM ON TO CHILDREN IN HIDING HOMES SCATTERED ACROSS NORTHANTS, BUCKS AND LEICESTERSHIRE.
IF ANYONE CANNOT COME ON THE DAY PLEASE DROP TOYS IN AT ANCHOR KAWASAKI CENTRE, FINEDON or THE HORSESHOE INN, IRTLINLINGBOROUGH or TAN2SEE NAIL SALON IRTHLINGBOROUGH.
TRY TO PUT ON A SANTA SUIT AND TURN UP ON THE DAY IF YOU CAN, BECAUSE OF BEING BOGGED DOWN WITH SO MANY NEW REGULATIONS AND HEALTH AND SAFETY SPAM IT IS MORE THAN POSSIBLE THIS EVENT IN FUTURE MAY HAVE TO CEASE DUE TO TOO MANY RULES AND REGULATIONS BEING IMPOSED BY POWERS THAT BE (WHOEVER ON EARTH THEY ARE)! -- WISH I WAS BACK IN 1964 AND FREE

sounds good, we have one going down our way but it's for 'ordinary' (ok sick) kids in hospital, not overly keen on that one as i think the kids will get spoiled any way, and sibs feel left out...much prefer the idea behind that one..
