No NO No!  It will free your soul and cleanse all your biking sins.  It will allow you to speak to your bike and other bikers at your new level.

Countersteering is indeed the word that opens your soul to true biking heaven.

To the stake with non-believers.;)

Bike reinvents its logo and layout all too regularly, but its the contents not the wapping, and they are consistently good.  But please let Mark Williams back...even if its only for a while.

Well i like it,best one for a while, still takes the most time to read cover to cover than the other mags. Like the 40% throttle runs as well, can tell you alot more about how it will feel on the road, rather than just flat out on the track

It'll be a month before I see the June issue.  But I've heard through the grapevine that you guys did a twin test and a report on riding in California.  So I'm looking forward to it.  I asked, no, nearly begged, for a twin test on this forum several months ago, so thanks for that.  :)  Hopefully whoever did the California report came prior to the winter because right now some of our best roads are under snow.

As for Bike turning into Ride, I buy Bike.  I enjoy Bike.  For the past several years, I've bought Bike without really looking through it because I know what I'm going to get, the finest magazine motorcycling has to offer
. (Yeah, yeah, I'll go wipe that brown off my nose, now.)  I always look at Ride on the newstand but almost never buy it, maybe 2 issues/year.  It just doesn't appeal to me on the same level as Bike.  So with people saying that Bike's turning into Ride, I'm very interested in seeing what the June issue looks like.

I know I'm just one voice, and if the decisions been made to change the format then its been made, but, particularly over the past three or four years, Bike has consistently entertained, educated and informed me about motorcycling better then any other publication out there.

Thank you,

Michael

Design wise, I would have thought only a non-biker would have thought that a Bike reader would prefer to see larger numbers and titles than larger pictures of the motorbikes they are about.

I like the new look. There's plenty of good content, which should appeal across a wide spectrum of people and it's still a good read.

Logo font is bollocks though.

Just got the issue yesterday....Impressions?

Great to see how the Bike magazine started back in 1971 and the trend of the bikes during the 70s in the UK. Its like looking back to history! :) Contents wize the magazine is as good as it was in previous issues which is fairly good to me, design wise it looks kind of funky 70s style, at least the font... I guess that is a tribute to the magazines first issue in 70s. Will it continue with the rest of the issues?

It would be great to see the progression throughout the years (80s and 90s)and notice the elments that made the Bike mag get the title of "Britain's Best-selling Motorcycle Magazine" <- (I hope that is true and not a just a Marketing Mambo-Jumbo)

what's that all about, have they given the congenitaly boring fatso a good review? if they have i shall be forced to buy a subscription and cancel it forthwith.

all i want is a magazine that's a cross between fastbikes (for ian cramp and
lunacy), and msl (village green preservation society), some dan walsh, and some top trumps figures. i really don't care for track testing, launches, or racing, but feel free to include some in order to appeal to lowest common denominator.

+1 from another Californian. Our roads are the best (and why do people go on and on about the Pacific Coast Highway, as chiara says the best ones are under snow or actually just appearing by now) but our magazines are fluff. Even the most boring Bike with used bike reports (yawn) takes me three-four times as long to read as the US mags. April issue was outstanding, May a bit below average. I'll see June in 3 weeks or so.

No... actually I don't like it. Because I don't bloody have it!!!

My best theory is that you failed to mention that the first issue imprint is for UK residents only. Which sort of ... well... sucks really.
The way I see it... I've been screwed!
