Well, as the end of the month has arrived I found myself dutifully paying the monthy bills using internet banking. Afterwards, as I had a spare five minutes, I thought I'd do a bit of "housekeeping" and delete long since expired direct debits. You know what it's like, there's loads of them - energy companies that ripped you off for years so you finally got round to changing provider, crap ISP's (long since dumped) and numerous others. Then I stumbled across my emap direct debit for my subscription to BMW Monthly, er, sorry, I mean RiDE. Ah, crap, I mean Bike. In three clicks of the mouse it was gone. Now there's no more waiting for it to arrive like a kid at Christmas expecting a Sony PS3 but receiving a pair of socks.
I'm a little sad, I been a subscriber for years, but this latest re-launch, reincarnation or whatever the hell you want to call it, has been the tipping point, the point of no return as it were. It may improve, who knows ? What I do know is this posting won't be the "Star Letter" in next months edition.

Bike has changed so much over the years & it's never stopped me buying it (I put up with Roger Willis, so a bit of a format change is nothing). Even the gradual PB/Bike staff swap hasn't deterred me.
Change always causes problems, it's your choice how you react to it.
