Hello

I am editorial assistant on Bike magazine. I've posted this thread over on Talk About Anything and they've sent me packing with a flea in my ear! ;)

It was just a quick question to ask if you would be interested in any kind of Bike merchandise, and if so what sort of things you'd like to see available.

Cheers :D

Nice skinnifit ladies t-shirts go well, as do men's style in colours other than black! Plus beanie hats, fleeces/hoodies and long sleeved tops in the winter...

I feel a bit silly now, really. I was kind of basing it on one of our other mags as the readers go mad for t-shirts and the like, and because there isn't anything done for Bike I wondered if it was something you might be interested in. I  suppose it just depends now much you're into the mag, I guess...

:?

With the retro Bike logo like the one on this month's supplement (reprint of original issue)? That's a good idea. Seventies stylee would look great.

I wouldn't know, as an overseas subscriber, I was not deemed worthy of a magazine supplement. (Grumble...mutter..gits etc) :(

How about underwear?

all for the retro stuff, but try and keep it tasteful eh?

no desire to look like a Bike advertising hoarding.

Simple fleeces/t-shirts with reasonably discrete branding would be fine.

Personalised mugs with the bike logo would always go down well as an inexpensive  gift.

Just a plain black t-shirt, with Bike in white, retro as the others have said. Not skinny fit though, as my bitch tits look awful in them.

Or a t-shirt with a picture of Khal.

Can't refuse the people, Sal...

Even if they are clearly in need of psychiatric help. Or a pair of spectacles...

I'd go for t-shirts etc. Not in black though, maybe a small selection of colours, like black, white, red etc

Don't say that. You're lovely. I don't know if you saw me, but I once went for a meeting with John Westlake at your offices in Peterbruff. While waiting in reception for my appointment you walked past, I smiled coyly but you were eating a cheese sandwich and didn't notice me. You had bits of cheese all down your shirt!

70's stylee hmm oxymoron?

will the sleeves be a diff colour to the body? will you do hot pants with a bib?

skinny tee (as I'm not ample up top) will be fine by me maybe a long sleeve version?

Good idea, I'd buy them all. Or get free samples. I said FREE SAMPLES.

I'm liking the sleeves-different-colour-to-body-idea, but will pass on the hot pants if you don't mind! I too can get away with skinny tees as am quite modestly endowed. The company we use for the tops do a massive range, so if there IS enough interest we can hopefully please everyone...
